Amy married Daniel at St Catherine’s Church and then celebrated at the beautiful Holland Hall back in July 2016, wearing a bespoke Philip Armstrong gown.
After trying on many dresses all over the North West, Amy was starting to lose hope that she would find her dress until she came to Philip Armstrong;
“As soon as you see those dresses in the showroom you know they are unique, I wanted my dress to be different than what you see in any of the other bridal shops, I wanted it to ‘wow’ me, and Philip Armstrong’s designs did just that. As soon as I saw the dress I knew it was the one!”
Amy chose a figure hugging lace and silk tule gown, with a beautiful lace bodice back and cut out illusion waist details. Amy’s favorite part of the dress was the subtle sparkle under the tulle of the skirt, Amy recalls she “had never seen anything like it before, it made the dress”.
Amy accessorised her bridal look with a matching Philip Armstrong Cathedral Length Veil and Nude Jimmy Choo Heels.
For her bouquet, Amy chose Avalanche Roses, Hydrangeas, Netty Dahlias and Sweet Peas in Ivory shades, which complimented her dress perfectly.
Amy’s advice to future brides? “Be organized and plan even the smallest of details! It is one of the most incredible days of your life, cherish every single moment from the minute you wake up a ‘Miss’ to going asleep as a ‘Mrs’.
Congratulations Amy, you looked radiantly beautiful!

Deana married Craig at a ceremony at St Peter’s Church in September 2017 and then celebrated at 30 James Street, Liverpool.
Deana recalls “I had always dreamed of having a Philip Armstrong wedding dress, so when we set the date I knew I had to go and try some on. I was completely blown away by the bridal room, everything felt right”.
When finding a style that would work for Deana she knew exactly what she wanted; “a tight fitting dress with a fishtail”. Philip and Tony worked with this to create a beautiful bespoke lace & silk tulle gown, with an illusion buttoned back.
Deana styled her look with a matching Cathedral-length Veil, Sophia Webster Heels, and Diamond Earrings. Her two adorable Flower Girls also wore bespoke Philip Armstrong dresses that incorporated the soft lace and embellishment found in Deana’s gown.
For any future Brides, Deana’s advice is to “Enjoy the day, don’t stress. What is meant to happen will happen, make sure you take time for you and your groom to look back and see what a lovely day you have created”.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Marshall, you both looked sensational!
We absolutely love the idea of your ‘mini-me’s’ wearing elements of your Bridal Gown incorporated into theirs. What do you think? Is this something you would consider?
Mollie married Antony in June 2017 at a breath-taking ceremony at Le Ceil on the Greek Island of Santorini; and chose Philip Armstrong for her dress after trying many places with no luck of finding ‘the one’.
When Mollie and her family arrived at our Liverpool showroom, she says her family “were overwhelmed at how stunning each and every dress was. The quality and detail were out of this world and couldn’t have asked for a better designer than Tony, he really understood what I needed in my dress”.
Mollie loved details of two dresses in the showroom, which lead both designs to be mixed to create her 'dream dress' of a super fitted, hand-beaded bodice with a dramatic mermaid tulle train.
When asked what her favourite part of her dress was she said she “loved everything about it, but it would have to be the hand beaded material and also the super low back detail”.
Mollie accessorised her Philip Armstrong gown with a Cathedral length Veil with delicate hand-embroidered appliques and Nude Jimmy Choo heels. She chose a bouquet of peonies, roses and hydrangeas with hints of pale blue to compliment her bridal party perfectly.
Mollie’s advice to future brides is to "enjoy everything from the planning, bachelorette party to the very special day as it will be here and gone before you know. Don’t sweat the small stuff and hiring a good wedding planner will allow you and your partner to totally enjoy your day".
We are totally in love with Mollie’s breath-taking photos from her destination wedding; it looked like a dream come true! Congratulations Mr & Mrs Bell!
Jennifer married Liam at a lavish ceremony at the beautiful Thornton Manor Estate in August 2017 wearing a lace fitted gown, with an illusion back and a silk tulle train.
Jennifer recalls always loving Philip Armstrong dresses even before she began her wedding dress search. She knew she could trust the brand and that her vision would be understood, so her first point of call in her search was our Liverpool showroom. Although Jennifer carried on searching after her visit, she found that her heart was with the first one she tried on at Philip Armstrong.
Over the year of planning Jennifer’s dress evolved and had her own personal touches added which included the super low back. She opted for a dramatic Cathedral style veil so kept her accessories simple as the “dress and veil did all the talking”. She teamed her look with Guiseppe Zanotti Harmony Silver heels.
When it came to jewelry, Jennifer explains that she “always believes that less is more; I wore diamond teardrop stud earrings and my ‘something borrowed’ was an eternity band of diamonds from my Maid of Honor. My perfume was an easy choice as it was my favorite YSL Black Opium”.
Jennifer advises all future brides to “Plan, plan and plan! Also to pick a set of good bridesmaids who you know will be there for you regardless of how crazy you become! It’s so easy to get caught up in the stress but just to enjoy the process, as it really is the most incredible day of your life!”
We love the soft and beautiful look Jennifer chose for her special day, a style that will stay timeless and totally unique to her for the years to come. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Vavarro!
